JUST THOUGHT

Some people think that they are supposed to simply get in where you fit in, be a good boy or girl and simply follow suit,
Be the person mama-n-them’ say you are, because of the things you did when you were young, they called them cute……
No one knew when you were young, you were mimicking the characters you saw on TV.. you dreamed and said…. that character is me! It was funny to your parents but the TV was telling you who you are and what you will become to be, you know…
The media’s proclamation…
The buffoon, the chauffeur, the porter and the highly sought after corporate America slave, was your highest expectation……..
Not only you, that proclamation was for yo' kinfolk too.. those who are of your closest relation.
Who are you, is the question every soul must asked his/herself because it’s a burning desire placed within us since our creation……
But knowledge of the ever living ALMIGHTY GOD we don’t know, we seems to have lost it down through the generation…….
As a result Black people seem to be afraid to fail, scared of rejection and have lost our true identity…..have we become a people of naught?
Hmm…that is the end of this spoken word my brothers and sisters……this is something that…
