Black Culture is always at the forefront of most trends in the world. Non blacks are the leading consumers of inner city fashions, slang, music including the music forms pioneered by blacks: Jazz, Blues, Rock and Hip Hop

The list can go on and on. We are the most resourceful people in the world.
I thought I had seen it all until yesterday surfing You Tube looking for black hair styles.
I ran across the Black Beauty Hair Battle. I was expecting to see a traditional Barber Battle like the ones in the south. (ATL, Dallas, etc.). These hair battles are a art show, showcasing black hair styles. Most of the upper crust blacks (fakers) look at it as a hot ghetto mess but is a very serious event that people travel miles to attend
The Black Beauty Battle however, is in Japan of all places! They put weave in their hair to try to achieve the "kinky" look that most Black American hate and look down on.

The very things we laugh at have become huge around the world. As a people we are world changers and do even know it because we are too busy trying to live up to a standard that is often below us. We are Kings and Queens in every sense of the word. People all over the world are watching us and trying to prove their "blackness"
Which leads me to say "I wanna be black!"
What do you wanna be?
